Visitor Rules & Terms and Conditions

Introduction / General Compliance

For safety and security reasons, all visitors must comply with the following rules.

The Organizer retains the right to refuse admission at any time.

Any interference with the smooth running of the event is strictly prohibited. Any person engaging in such interference will be removed from the venue.

Security staff may intercept or direct any person who poses a threat to event safety or good order. This includes individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or those in possession of dangerous items or substances. Such persons will be removed from the venue, and authorities may be contacted.

All issues not expressly covered in these rules are decided by the Organizer alone, subject to applicable law.

Tickets

Ticket holders must secure tickets online in advance of arriving at the event. No tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

To unlock all relevant benefits and perks, ticket holders are advised to register their ticket on the DASH App on their smartphone or device prior to arriving.

Ticket holders who do not register on the DASH App can still obtain a general entry bracelet to enter the premises but will not be eligible for DASH App-related benefits and perks.

ArtHouse VIP ticket holders must register their pass on the DASH App prior to arriving. To access VIP-specific events, please register at the VIP desk at the Info Desk to receive the appropriate VIP bracelet.

Purchase, use of a ticket, or entry into the event constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

All ticket sales are final. Refunds and/or amendments cannot be made at the ticket holder's request after the order has been confirmed. This applies even in the event of changes to the program, cancellation, or postponement of the event for any reason. Failure to attend on the proper day and time will not result in a refund.

Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources other than the official website are void. Unauthorized or unlawful resale or attempted resale of a ticket is grounds for seizure and cancellation of all admission privileges without compensation.

DASH App Benefits & Perks

Any ticket holder who has downloaded the DASH App, registered their ticket on it, and enters the venue using the DASH App will be eligible to receive various benefits and perks related to the event.

These benefits and perks are provided and supported exclusively by the DASH App. Ticket holders who do not download and use the DASH App for entry are not eligible.

Details of the benefits and perks are communicated on the ArtHouse website, with final terms, redemption instructions, availability, and conditions provided via the DASH App.

Fulfillment is subject to availability and at the sole discretion of the participating partners, restaurants, and bars. The participating partners, restaurants, bars, and the Organizer reserve the right to determine eligibility, modify, or cancel the redemption process at any time without prior notice.

These benefits and perks are provided while stocks last and cannot be exchanged, refunded, or substituted. The Organizer is not liable for any issues related to the quality, availability, or redemption of these benefits or perks.

For visitors without a compatible device or phone number: Please visit the Organizer's Office below Little Tai Hang upon arrival for assistance in obtaining a general entry bracelet, which does not include DASH App benefits.

Community & Neighborhood Respect

ArtHouse is hosted in the residential community of Tai Hang. Visitors must respect local residents at all times.

Keep noise levels low, especially outside the houses. Do not block pathways, alleys, entrances to private properties, or public access routes.

Dispose of any waste properly and do not litter in the neighborhood.

Follow all traffic and safety signage when moving between houses in public areas.

Venue Access & Flow

Each house has limited capacity to ensure visitor safety and protect the artworks.

Visitors may be required to wait in line or enter in small groups. Staff will regulate entry and exit as needed.

No saving places in queues is permitted.

The entry bracelet allows access to the community area during the event period. Re-entry to the overall event is permitted, but individual houses may have temporary capacity restrictions or timed entry.

Bag Policy

Small bags may be brought into the premises but are subject to security inspection if there is any suspicion regarding their contents. Only one bag per visitor is allowed.

Large bags, crossbody bags, suitcases of any size, trolleys of any size, children's prams, strollers, and baby strollers are not permitted inside the premises, as the houses have very limited space.

Visitors must leave any non-permitted items at the entrance of each house at their own risk. The Organizer is not liable for any stolen, lost, or damaged items left at house entrances.

Prohibited Items

Items that may cause damage are prohibited. This includes firearms, sharp objects, weapons of any kind, and self-defense items.

Outside food and drinks (including bottled water) are not allowed inside any house.

Security Inspection & Dangerous Items

All visitors and their belongings may be subject to inspection before entering any house or the premises.

Visitors must comply with requests and instructions from onsite staff.

Any disruptive behavior—including protest, attempted vandalism, or unauthorized performance—or failure to follow staff instructions may result in removal from the event without refund.

To ensure public safety, visitors must not bring dangerous items into the venue.

The Organizer and staff have the authority to inspect personal belongings of any person seeking entry and reserve the right to inspect bags or personal items.

Belongings / Lost Items

Visitors should be mindful of their belongings.

The Organizer will not be liable for any lost or damaged items left on the premises.

For lost and found items, please email info@arthouseasia.com or visit the Organizer's Office below Little Tai Hang during the event to report the loss and seek assistance.

Children & Underage Visitors

Admission is free for children under 12 when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Each adult may accompany only one child (strict 1:1 ratio)

Visitors should remind children to always walk (not run), respect Event Staff (who protect the art and attendees), and never touch artwork, as it can be damaged by natural oils on fingers. Running and touching artwork is not allowed.

By attending with children, accompanying adults consent to minors under their care viewing all content at the event.

For children at age 12 or above, to enjoy the full ticket benefit they should download the DASH App and register their ticket. If they do not have a phone or phone number to install or register on the DASH App, they may obtain a bracelet (without benefits/perks) by seeking help at the Organizer's Office below Little Tai Hang.

Artwork Interaction

Visitors must not touch, lean on, handle, or otherwise interact with any artworks, installations, display elements, or furniture unless explicitly permitted by staff.

Violation of this rule may result in immediate removal from the event and full liability for any resulting damage.

Photography, Filming & Camera Policy

Medium or large-format cameras, super-zoom or telephoto lenses, flashes, extendable camera devices (e.g., monopods, tripods, selfie sticks), drones, and video recording are prohibited. Any non-compliant device will not be permitted.

Personal, non-professional photography is allowed if it causes no disruption to other visitors, the flow of movement, or artwork safety.

Press and promotional photography and filming occur on the premises. Attendance implies permission for your image to be used for non-commercial purposes (including media reports).

Group Visits (Including Schools/Educational Institutions)

Due to artwork fragility and space limitations in the small houses, groups of eight or more must register in advance with the Organizer via info@arthouseasia.com prior to the visit.

Commercial activities, commercial guided tours, or similar activities are not permitted. The event is for personal viewing only. Only groups adhering to this guideline will be allowed.

The Organizer and Event Staff reserve the right to control group access onsite based on traffic flow, group nature, and overall viewing experience.

Accessibility & Pet Policy

The event is generally wheelchair accessible, but some houses may not be due to the structure of the old buildings (e.g., stairs, narrow doorways).

Mobility aids for people with disabilities (e.g., wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, canes, prosthetic devices, orthotic devices) and personal medical equipment are permitted where possible.

Certified service animals for visitors with disabilities are welcome. Dogs and other pets are generally permitted, except in houses with sculptures or art pieces that are not pet-friendly.

For non-wheelchair-accessible or non-pet-friendly houses, visitors must enter at their own risk or leave mobility aids/pets at the entrance.

No Smoking

Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the premises or in the surrounding community areas during the event.

Other Policies

Limitation of Liability

Visitors shall be liable for any artwork or other property damage, whether caused negligently or inadvertently.

Visitors are responsible for their own personal property and safety at the event venue.

The event takes place in multiple small community houses with varying structures (e.g., stairs, narrow spaces, uneven surfaces). Visitors enter at their own risk regarding these venue conditions.

Participation in any tours or event activities may involve additional risks, including travel hazards, physical activities, variable weather conditions when moving between houses, transportation, natural environments, and actions of third parties. These risks may result in serious injury, illness, permanent disability, or death.

ArtHouse, its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, and suppliers (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will take all reasonable measures to ensure safety and security. The Released Parties shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, illness, death, or other claim arising from or in connection with the event or tours, including before, during, or after.

Marketing Material Distribution

Distribution of flyers or other marketing materials requires prior authorization. Unauthorized distribution will result in the visitor being asked to leave the event and removal of all materials.

Artwork Valuation

Please do not bring artwork for valuation.

Health & Safety

All visitors must comply with the health and safety policies of the event. If specific measures become applicable, updates will be provided on the ArtHouse website.
